Shepherd’s Cottage, Highgate
When a touch of middle age spread in a gable elevation, turned into a worrying bulge. It was the personal trainers from Triskele who were called in to get this 400 year old cottage back into shape. The main works included the structural propping of the existing building, dismantling of the bulged section and rebuilding with the original bricks and a traditional hot mixed lime mortar. All without destabilising the existing chimney stack, internal walls, the original roof structure or the afternoon naps of Luna, the dog.
